RealMee is a service with which you can make a personal website in just a matter of seconds. The website can be found by people who look for you in search engines. Actually, the link will be among the top search results. We play by the rules set by search engines. This means no 'cloaking', 'linkfarming' and all those other geeky terms that describe ways to game the search engines. We designed the service with the vision that it should be really easy for anyone to make this website and thereby establishing control over their online identity. For the near future we have a lot of ideas for new features that are about one thing only: your public identity. The team
We are Ronald Carpentier and Hans Helms, two Internet fanatics - some of our friends actually call us geeks - from Amsterdam, Holland. One simple question from Robert Scoble got us thinking: "What if we could just post one post with all the stuff you’d want to appear in Google or Live Search or Yahoo for when people search for your name?" The need was clear. People need to control how they are found when people look for them online. So we thought about how people could be in control of their online identity. RealMee is our answer to this question.
